Bio
I’m Latisha Harrison and I’m an actress and stand-up comedian. I gained most of my acting experience and training at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s Drama Ministry. I've performed in many of our productions to include one of our biggest production the popular musical, which brings in over 16,000 people per year, the “Uncut Coming of Christ” which was written and produced by Joshua Jenkins with original music created and directed by the Grammy Nominated and Stellar Award Winning gospel artist, Anthony Brown.
Theater then prepared me for the transition into film/tv work. I have had fun playing roles such as the lead in the TVOne crime reenactment show “Thou Shalt Not” which will soon air and Ruby in the Independent Film currently titled “The Exposure” which is full of family secrets which results in a whirlwind of drama.
My love of laughter made the decision to do stand-up comedy a no brainer. I have performed at various churches in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, better known as the DMV area. I’ve also performed at the DC Improv and was also fortunate enough to perform at shows headlining with great talents such as Jimmy Walker and Todd Bridges.
