I’m Latisha Harrison and I’m an actress and stand-up comedian. I also do all things creative from writing, directing, and dancing to cooking and crafts. If Tyler Perry, Janet Jackson and Martha Stewart had a baby, that’s me. (I know that’s weird but you get the point.)

I have been performing since I was two years old. Born and raised in Maryland I started with ballet and moved onto tap, jazz, gymnastics, cheer-leading, pom-pom, and more as a child. I went on to try modeling and step in my college years and now have settled into acting and comedy.

I gained most of my acting experience and training at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s Drama Ministry. I've performed in many of our productions to include one of our biggest production the popular musical, which brings in over 16,000 people per year, the “Uncut Coming of Christ” which was written and produced by Joshua Jenkins with original music created and directed by the Grammy Nominated and Stellar Award Winning gospel artist, Anthony Brown.

Theater then prepared me for the transition into film/tv work. I have had fun playing roles such as the lead in the TVOne crime reenactment show “Thou Shalt Not” and Ruby in the Independent Film currently titled “The Exposure” which is full of family secrets which results in a whirlwind of drama.  I've had the pleasure of working both in front and behind the camera on the feature film "Sinners Wanted" by Jenk Inc. and MegaMind Media starring Clifton Powell and Lamman Rucker.

My love of laughter and the desire to make others laugh was the driving force behind me deciding to do stand-up comedy. I feel like people are at their happiest when they are laughing, even if it's just a brief moment. I have performed at various churches in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, better known as the DMV area. I’ve also performed at the DC Improv and was also fortunate enough to perform at shows headlining with great talents such as Jimmy Walker, Todd Bridges, Sean Sarvis, & Ms. Sherleen.

Just as much as I love performing I also enjoy the hustle and bustle of backstage. I am one of the Directors at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden often wearing many hats from Directing to Stage Manager. Working on this side of production has afforded me with the opportunity to work with many great gospel artists such as Anthony Brown, Kirk Franklin, Erica Campbell, Kim Burrell and many more.
